New music video ‘Pleased,’ produced by Uncooked Artwork Works Actual to Reel Movie College

Uncooked Artwork Works (RAW), a youth arts nonprofit in Lynn, introduced the discharge of award-winning artist, Cliff Notez’s music video “Pleased.” Cliff, named “Musician of the Yr” by Boston Journal in 2019, filmed the music video April 2019 with RAW’s Actual to Reel Movie College. This was not the primary collaboration Cliff, a former instructing artist at RAW, has achieved with Actual to Reel.  Cliff Notez and Movie College Supervisor Rachel St. Pierre led the RAW group “Phrase’s in Movement,” a crossover of spoken phrase and filmmaking in 2016. And in 2018 he was featured in Oompa’s music video “I Deserve That,” which was additionally produced by RAW’s movie college college students. 

The music video “Pleased” was co-directed by two RAW filmmakers, Miguel Valdez and Sydney Discipline, together with RAW alumnus, Daymian Mejia. Each Discipline and Mejia went on to review movie in school.
